Biochar Forum for Sustainable Development

On May 22, 2026, the International Biochar Association Pacific (IBAP), in collaboration with German-Thai Agricultural Cooperation Project (GETHAC) and the National Metal and Materials Technology Center (MTEC), successfully hosted the “Biochar Forum for Sustainable Development”. The event took place at Silk 2 Room, BITEC Bangna, as part of AGRITECHNICA ASIA 2026.

This forum served as a dynamic platform for exchanging knowledge, perspectives, and fostering collaborations to implement and scale up “Biochar” applications in Thailand. Key areas of focus included sustainable waste management, regenerative agriculture, carbon sequestration, and the circular economy.

The forum was divided into two highly insightful sessions:

🔹 Session 1: “Biochar: A Sustainable Waste Management Solution for a Truly Circular Economy & Real-World Biochar Use Cases”
